Abstract

The three-mirror open resonator (OR) with the prism of total-internal-reflection (TIR) for measuring dielectric constants of high-losses dielectrics is presented. The calculations of the resonator characteristics in approximation of wave beams have been carried out. Parameters of the system such as coupling gap value and dielectric constant of the prism which provide the high sensitivity of experiment were determined.
