Conclusions

A study was made of the reaction in the system: RbAlH4-diglyme (DG) in the temperature range from −65 to 50°C.

The existence of the solvates RbAlH4·4DG and RbAlH4·-3DG was established, which respectively melt incongruently at −20 and −3°.

The region for the crystallization of the unsolvated rubidium aluminum hydride was determined.
