Abstract

The shortage of resources is becoming increasingly serious in the global form. In the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, China emphasized the status of marine resources and planned the development of marine resources in China. However, in the process of developing marine resources, advanced equipment and reasonable development planning are especially important, especially the development of marine resources, which is the core of the development of the whole marine resources. This paper emphasizes the function and basic structure of the Beidou satellite system, and analyzes the working principle of the Beidou satellite navigation system in detail. The author mainly explains the Beidou satellite system from four aspects of the rescue, positioning, communication and data transfer, and explains the significance and method of using the Beidou system to the ocean engineering. Finally, the advantages of the Beidou System in marine engineering are summarized.
