Authors and Affiliations
About the authors
Daud Alam, is an economist, and was born in 1955 in Herat, Afghanistan. He started his career as a programmer for a subsidiary of Siemens. Before becoming a project leader at the Projektmanagement-Akademie in Stuttgart, he worked as a project manager at the software company Wesser-Informatik in Obereichen. Currently he is as an IT expert at Daimler AG, and holds seminars both in Germany and abroad for MBTech, the Protics Akademie and the Daimler Bildungsakademie. In addition he lectures to Daimler AG students at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and is an assistant lecturer at Pforzheim University in Germany.
Uwe Gühl, Dr.-Ing. Dipl. Inform., born in 1966 in Offenbach am Main, Germany, works as freelancer in the areas of international on/offshore IT project management, IT quality management, software test management, team building, moderation, research, teaching, coaching, and consulting. After training and working in the field of social security he studied computer science and did his PhD in mechanical engineering. He has pursued research and worked in companies related to the automotive industry, banking, logistics and media, as well as in higher education. He has worked in Germany, Switzerland, France, USA, India, and Thailand.
