Summary
A number of contributors to the GAMM workshop on “Numerical Simulation of Oscillatory Convection in Low Pr Fluids” used finite difference methods to obtain numerical solutions. A summary of different contributions is presented. An assessment of the various methods and computer codes has been attempted by comparison of the various solutions with what is regarded as a solution of high accuracy.
