Abstract
Data federation and virtualization in SaaS environments is one of the issues present in cloud environments. Within human resource management information systems, there is a huge amount of data that other corporate applications are needed to access and manipulate. Meta4 is one of the leaders in Human and intellectual capital sectors both in SaaS and on premise scenarios. This paper presents a framework to select the best option for data access in SaaS environment from the developer side using the Analytic Hierarchy Process enriched by an ontological representation of it. This framework would be useful for all SaaS service providers willing to open SaaS data to their customers.
