Conclusions
-
1.
The valence state and coordination of transition metals do not change during polymerization of their acrylates.
-
2.
On the example of polymerization of cobalt acrylate, it was shown that it takes place according to the traditional radical mechanism; the general polymerization equation isW n=K[M]∼1 [I]∼0.5.
-
3.
The synthesized metal-containing polymers with Mη of 18,800–33,600 exhibit elevated (up to 400°C) thermal stability and a predominantly syndiotactic structure.
