Definition
Resale, gift, barter, and rent, the sharing economy is old but is being reinvented by the “digital revolution.” The sharing economy is a broad term generally defined by the act of decentralized provision of a good or service by individuals outside of the immediate kinship and friendship networks. It refers to co-production communities in which individuals organize themselves to produce a common good or provide a service. Carpooling, colocation, coworking, crowdfunding, and purchasing groups are most of the times included among them.
