I am Dr. Vikram Mhaskar, a knee and shoulder surgeon from New Delhi, India. And in this video, we are going to be talking about inside out meniscus repair, how do you do it, both arthroscopically as well as recording from outside.

The inside out repair technique is a very effective technique for any kind of meniscus tear, may it be a radial tear, a horizontal tear, a vertical or bucket handle tear. In this video, we will be using a bucket handle tear as our example of doing this wonderful technique.

The inside out technique can be used on any part of the medial meniscus if it’s torn, and the body and anterior part of the lateral meniscus safely. We will also be discussing little tips and tricks of doing this technique better. And I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Thank you.
