This video will equip you with enough base knowledge to empower you to start exploring on your own.
The goal of this video is for those with no electronics knowledge or experience to have a fun introduction to Arduino and see the magic in getting that first LED blinking. This video avoids getting bogged down in technical terms and is perfect for those who don’t want to decipher intense documentation to jump start their electronics journey.

Welcome to Arduino for Absolute Beginners Getting Started with Hardware, Software, and Code. This introductory course is designed for people who are interested in getting to hobbyist electronics but maybe never have use Arduino or written code before. There’s no expected prior knowledge.
First, let me introduce myself. My name is Clarissa. I am professional software engineer most of time, but in my spare hours, I’m a self-taught hardware enthusiast. I also run a YouTube channel called Make It to Fake It, where I explore electronics, sewing, and 3D printing.
Part of my goal for this video series to make hardware feel accessible and show that even someone who doesn’t feel like they’re a techie person can have fun too. It can be pretty intimidating at first. But I promise with a little practice, you’ll be coding Arduino in no time.
In the following videos, we’ll break down how electronics work, how to use a breadboard to prototype your circuits, and how to code your Arduino, and finally bringing it all together with some examples that we’ll walk through step by step. By the end, I hope you have the parts needed to start exploring your own project ideas, but mostly the electronics doesn’t seem so intimidating anymore.
In this series, we’ll be using an Arduino uno and a cable connected to your computer, a breadboard, jumper wires or any wires that will connect your breadboard, a 220 ohm resistor, a 10k resistor, LEDs, a micro servo, a photo resistor, and a push button. Let’s get started.
