Abstract
This chapter discusses the flow of radiation in a real crystal. Topics covered include: primary and secondary extinction; radiation flow; extinction factors; polarization and anisotropy. The results from kinematic and dynamical theory are compared. This chapter is also available as HTML from the International Tables Online site hosted by the IUCr.
