Structure of Higher Education System
Description
Higher education is provided by the University of Curaçao (previously the Universiteit van de Nederlandse Antillen). It is an autonomous institution and its governing bodies are the Board of Trustees and the University Council.
Stages of studies
University level first stage
Bachelor’s degree
Studies last for four years (or two years after Propedeuse in Law).
University level second stage
Master’s degree
A Master’s degree is offered two years after the Bachelor’s degree in such fields as Business Administration and Accounting.

Name of Secondary school credential required: Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs Certificate
