Abstract
Andreas Andreades was born in Corfu. His education and academic affiliations were pan-European, ranging from a doctorate in Law and Political Science from Paris University to the Bavarian Academy in Munich, the Romanian Academy in Bucharest and the Institut d’Egypte at Cairo. He became a lecturer at Athens University in 1902 and Professor of Economics in 1906.
