Abstract
Different surgeons have gradually developed their own distinctive understanding of NOSES in clinical practice. In addition to standard surgical methods, experts from different hospitals have adapted and improved NOSES to varying degrees, depending on the equipment conditions of their hospitals and their respective surgical practices. This chapter covers the experience and wisdom of various Chinese experts in laparoscopic and robotic NOSES for different surgical methods for colorectal neoplasms. The topics discussed in this chapter include (1) experience and skill sharing on NOSES in the left and right colon, (2) key points in NOSES for colorectal cancer, (3) laparoscopic complex NOSES of colorectal tumor, (4) application of reverse puncture technique to place anvil for laparoscopic colorectal resection with NOSES, and (5) robotic radical resection for lower rectal carcinoma with transanal pullout of rectum eversion and extracorporeal resection technique. Hopefully, the reader will learn from the ideas and technical details mentioned in this chapter to make their own NOSES more perfect, depending on the conditions of the surgeon, the hospital, and the patient to be operated on. NOSES is a concept rather than a series of fixed surgical steps that can be continuously adjusted. This is the reason why NOSES is vibrant and has great prospects for development.
