Abstract
With the popularization of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), the contents of preoperative preparation are constantly adjusted and improved. However, due to the particularity in the surgical procedures of NOSES, preoperative preparation is still vitally important. The most satisfactory surgical effects cannot be achieved without a comprehensive preoperative preparation. This chapter gives a comprehensive introduction of preoperative preparations of NOSES, including bowel preparation, vaginal preparation for females, treatment principles of concomitant diseases, and psychological preparation for patients.
