Abstract
Orthopaedic surgery, especially trauma surgery, revolves around the process of putting the proper implant/implants perfectly and safely. The success is measured in bringing the injured individual back to the pre-injury level and keeping him or her there. In the case of children, implantation should not interfere with the natural process of growth. Modern society demands fast and excellent results. These can be attempted to achieve only by establishing and maintaining a perfect infrastructural support. Even the best surgeon or the surgical team cannot bring out the optimal outcome consistently without such support. This chapter focuses on some of the key components of the orthopaedic trauma management infrastructure.
