Abstract

Cleft Lip & Palate are the commonest birth deformities of the face. Both the deformities need correction by surgery under general anesthesia. Lip is repaired at 3 months of age while palate is repaired at 9–18 months of age. Continuous sutures when used for Lip & Palate repair, are quite beneficial, both in terms of time and cost.
