Abstract
Repair of unilateral complete cleft palate is usually by two flaps palatoplasty, using Bardach technique. Vomer flap from the contralateral (normal) side is used in reconstruction of nasal layer. Mucoperiosteal flaps are elevated and radical dissection of the pedicle is done on both sides to facilitate medial movements of both the mucoperiosteal flaps. Levator dissection and retro-position at just anterior to the uvula, helps in production of good voice.
