Abstract
Peer learning has a long history yet has only recently attracted wider attention as a formal strategy to improve students’ learning experiences within clinical education. This chapter will cover theoretical rationales for the use of peer learning, provide an overview of the potential peer learning configurations in the continuum of clinical education, and outline a range of practical strategies to successfully incorporate peer learning into health professional student education.
