Germu Mount Kunlun National Geopark is located in the Kunlun Mountains of Germu. It became a national geopark in 2005. The geopark has high elevations of 5,000 to 6,000 m. It is the meeting point of the main ridges of the East Kunlun Mountains. The rocks are mainly Triassic and Neogene granite and gneiss. The geopark features ancient glacial relics from multiple periods, modern glaciers, mud volcanoes, drumlins and spring water.
