This book was edited by Anze Chen and Yunting Lu and was published by Peking University Press in 1991. The book consists of 10 chapters, which focus on the system of tourism earth science and tourism, targets and objectives of tourism earth science research, classification of nature-based tourism resources and conditions of geological formations, the background of cultural tourism resources, the principles of the aesthetic judgement of the landscape, survey and evaluation methods of tourism resources, and preparation methods of tourism planning and systems, tourism resources and environmental protection. This book was the first monograph to discuss tourism earth science, a new discipline that expounds the relationship between tourism and earth science.
