Dehua Mount Shiniushan National Geopark is located in the Mount Daiyunshan area of central Fujian. It is along the upstream section of the Dazhangxi River in northern Quanzhou. It became a national geopark in 2005. The highest peak has an elevation of 1,781 m. The mountain is named Shiniu, which means stone ox in English, because a rock on top of the peak resembles the shape of an ox. The geopark contains volcanic landforms. It contains a sound ecological environment with forests, bamboo, wetlands, cliffs, rocks resembling animals and plants, waterfalls and streams.
