This is a kind of ecological landscape in waterlogged areas, lake shores, riverfronts and coastal areas in half wet and half dry conditions. Wetland landscapes mainly include water body landscapes, aquatic plant landscapes and wetland fauna landscapes (including fish, birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects and invertebrates). Wetlands are widely distributed in China from the cold temperate zone to the tropics, from the coast to the inland regions, and from the plains to the plateaus and mountainous areas. There is often a variety of wetland types in a single region, and a single type of wetland can exist in several regions.
