According to surveys and the evaluation of tourism resources, the general layout of tourism resources development will be designed based on the nature and characteristics of the resources, the development prospects of tourism destinations, the social, economic and cultural development trends and the requirements for sustainable development. Development planning and design are connected but different. First, tourism development planning is generally a macro-scale development strategy research and policy formulation process, whereas design is relatively specific and is a comprehensive arrangement for the development of tourism resources in specific tourist areas, including development plans, project planning, overall layout, land planning and landscape design.
