This is a geomorphic landscape with tourism value formed by changes of the geological structures. For example, mountain ranges, mountain systems and mountain ridges form due to violent neotectonic movements. Most of China’s mountains were formed by these processes. For example, the Himalayas are some of the youngest mountains in the world; they have been formed by neotectonic movements and are still being uplifted by several millimetres per year. Block mountains located in regions of significant differential neotectonic movements are the most spectacular and are the best mountain landform tourism travel resources. Examples are Taishan and Mount Qomolangma.
