This is also known as scenic tourism capacity. It is the capacity of tourism activities within a certain range of tourism resources over a certain period of time. The carrying capacity must meet the minimum tourist requirements for physical space and their psychological needs and provide protection for tourism resources. The carrying capacity of a scenic location reflects the land use intensity, economic benefits and tourist density at a tourism destination. It includes the spatial carrying capacities of resources, environmental ecology, the Earth, economic development and society. The regional and tourism carrying capacities of a tourist destination are the comprehensive capabilities of these different capacities.
