This geopark is located in Luzhai County in central Guangxi and is 36 km from the county town. The geopark is a transitional zone of karst peak clusters and tower peak forests, and it contains characteristic karst landform landscapes formed by Carboniferous limestone and dolomite. It was designated as one of the fourth group of national geoparks by the Ministry of Land and Resources in August 2005. The karst landscapes mainly include tower peak forests, stone forests, arches, sinkholes and karst caves. The typical subtropical karst landscapes from different development stages are concentrated in an area of less than 40 km2.
