This is hot mineral water that contains lithium. According to the National Medical Hot Mineral Water and Natural Drinking Mineral Water Quality Standard, water with lithium contents over 5 mg/L and 0.2 mg/L can be classified as medical lithium water and drinking lithium water, respectively. The standard for natural drinking mineral water used in Europe limits the lithium content to 1 mg/L or above, which is much higher than that in China. Because lithium is difficult to concentrate in groundwater, lithium water or lithium-containing water is rare in nature. Only a few places in China have lithium water. The highest standard for drinking lithium water is used in the Vichy area in France, which is 4.9 mg/L. Lithium has a moderating effect on the central nervous system.
