Introduction

The last decade has seen a proliferation of student-faculty partnerships in teaching, learning, research, and reform. Institutions of higher education and individuals around the world have developed programs and projects through which faculty and both undergraduate and graduate students participate in the co-creation of teaching and learning approaches; of scholarly analysis, presentations, and publications; and of individual, programmatic, and institutional transformation. Partnership work can enhance disciplinary and process learning for students, inform faculty learning about teaching and about students, and shape conversations about and approaches to developing institutions of higher education.
