Abstract

Overview of the expectations of patients in their contact(s) with psychiatrist, based on experience of groups of patients and health care professionals organized by Gamian-Europe in 2006 and 2010.

This article is based on two GAMIAN-Europe projects: the bipolar Companion and the Schizophrenia companion. A group composed of patients and health care professionals discussed their personal experiences during a period of 6 months (in 2010 for the bipolar companion and in 2016 for the schizophrenia companion).
