Abstract
Long-term climate change presents a threat to our built infrastructure and material heritage. This has been less widely discussed than many other aspects of climate change. However, as regulation reduces the amounts of air pollutants, the significance of weather as a factor in the deterioration of building materials assumes greater importance.
