Zusammenfassung

„Myopathie“ ist der Oberbegriff einer Gruppe heterogener Krankheitsbilder, denen eine Erkrankung des Muskels zugrunde liegt. Unterschieden werden dabei primäre Myopathien von sekundären Myopathien. Patienten mit Myopathien stellen für den Anästhesisten eine Herausforderung dar. Bei allen Patienten mit Myopathien gibt es einige grundsätzliche Problemfelder: Kardiale und pulmonale Begleiterkrankungen, Probleme bei der Thermoregulation sowie die Notwendigkeit triggerfreier Narkosen bei Patienten mit primärer Myopathie.
