Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag diskutiert verschiedene Aspekte von Mobilität und Wearables und fokussiert dabei insbesondere auf zwei medientheoretische Diskursschwerpunkte: die Körperorientierung mobiler Medien und Wearables und ihre macht- und regierungstheoretischen Implikationen. Klassische Medientheorien der Mobilität (Innis, Virilio, Latour) werden vorgestellt und auf aktuelle Entwicklungen (mobile Methoden, virtuelle Mobilität und mediale Environments) bezogen.
