Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die verschiedenen Diskurse und Perspektiven der kritischen PR-Forschung. Er verortet die Ansätze wissenschaftsphilosophisch und führt in die relevanten Denkschulen ein. Diese werden systematisiert und ihre Kernaussagen und wichtigsten Diskurse nachgezeichnet. Diskutiert werden insbesondere die Kritische Theorie mit Bezug zur Frankfurter Schule, postmoderne und poststrukturalistische Ansätze, hier insbesondere feministische Medientheorien, sowie kritische kulturwissenschaftliche Ansätze und Diskurse.
