Zwischen Einheitsanspruch und Fragmentierungsrealität

Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag bietet einen schlaglichtartigen Überblick über die sozialwissenschaftliche Forschung zu juristischen Professionen. Dabei werden neben grundlegenden Studien älteren Datums auch aktuelle Untersuchungen thematisiert. Als allgemeiner Leitfaden dient die Frage nach dem Verhältnis von Einheit und Fragmentierung der heutigen Rechtsberufe. Bei der Beantwortung dieser Frage stehen die professionelle Wissensbasis, die sozialhistorische Ausdifferenzierung der professionellen Selbstverwaltungsinstitutionen im internationalen Vergleich, die Betätigungsformen und der Feminisierungstrend im Mittelpunkt.
