Zusammenfassung
Während sich die betriebswirtschaftliche Perspektive auf DiM mit den Wirkungen von Diversity und Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten in gewinnorientierten Organisationen befasst, konzentriert sich die volkswirtschaftliche Sicht auf möglichst allgemeine theoretische Prinzipien, die auf ganz unterschiedliche Gegenstandsbereiche angewendet werden können, von Teams bis hin zu supranationalen Einheiten wie der EU. Der Beitrag führt in die Ökonomik der Identität, Netzwerke und Sozialkapital ein. Die Auswirkungen auf Kooperation und Wettbewerb werden unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Diskriminierungsphänomenen betrachtet.
