Phagocytosis Assay

Phagocytosis involves the engulfment of insoluble particles such as bacteria or erythrocytes resulting in their uptake into the cell cytoplasm where they would normally be degraded. Phagocytosis is commonly measured ex vivo using a microscopic or flow cytometry technique.
