Green Tea Cancer Prevention

Cancer prevention with green tea is a new strategy to prevent cancer development in humans: the daily cancer preventive amount is ten Japanese-size cups (120 ml/cup) of green tea per day (approximately 2.5 g green tea extract). This amount can be consumed by daily consumption of green tea beverage (sencha) supplemented with tablets of green tea extract that are produced in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, under strict control from tea leaves grown without pesticides (Epigallocatechin).


Green Tea Catechins

Green tea is a daily beverage in Japan. Japanese drink green tea infusion extracted from green tea leaves (sencha) with warm water (Fig. 1).
