Allergic skin reaction due to penetration of cercariae of bird schistosomes like Trichobilharzia, Dentritobilharzia, Ornithobilharzia, Gigantobilharzia, Macrobilharzia, Bilharzia into the skin of humans during bathing in lakes or rivers with intermediate hosts (snails) of those bird schistosomes. The most significant symptoms are formation of reddish pustules and intensive itching.
