Malaria treatment is always characterized by continuous introduction of medicaments in an endangered population. This introduces resistance of different degrees against the various chemical compounds. Therefore activities are needed to have an actual knowledge on the degrees of resistances. The method of resistance mapping is very useful to become aware of the actual status of medicament resistance in a given region.
