Uranium is known from various geological environments and areas in Poland but no major deposits have been discovered as yet. Small vein-type uranium deposits and occurrences related to granitic intrusions or hosted in metamorphic rocks are reported from the Sudety Mountains in southwestern, and the Holy Cross Mountains in southeastern Poland.
