Drew Barringer (1946– ) is president of the Barringer Crater Company, which owns and maintains the meteorite crater in Arizona, first claimed and developed by his grandfather as an iron mining prospect. Today this company supports research and education in impact cratering and meteorite studies. (M 48396)
