Stéphane Guisard (1970– ) is an optician at the European Southern Observatory in Cerro Paranal {see planet (6836)}, where he is working on the Very Large Telescope, including the very complex interferometer. Before that he worked at La Silla {see planet (2187)}, mostly on the 3.6-m telescope. (M 50252)
