Mt. Akagi, 1828 m above sea level, is a large stratovolcano in the mid-eastern part of Gunma prefecture. The celebrated mountain has many peaks, two atrio lakes, a high moor, and three marshes. It is one of the Three Jomo Mountains. (M 47295)
