Named for the regional telescope maker’s annual meeting in Vermont that has become recognized worldwide as a preeminent gathering for telescopic design and innovation. The “Shrine to the Stars” has provided a forum to exchange astronomical ideas, to enhance the performance of astronomical instruments and to further good contact between amateurs and professionals.
