Introduction
The United Nations right from the time of its inception mainly aimed to provide greater degree of order and friendly relations among the countries of the world. The United Nations Charter promises to save countries from the suffering of war, uphold the human rights, establish conditions under which justice and international laws could be maintained, and promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom. United Nations is a world body that tries to achieve international cooperation and peaceful settlement of disputes. But probably United Nations has not been able to fulfill the expectations of its founders. The member nations have always proposed bringing about reformations in the organization to cope with the challenges of the time.
