The United Nations has established the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to provide peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) comprise the main challenges to address, which will require the search for specific solutions to real problems. Due to the inherent complexity of SDGs and their multidisciplinarity, there must be integration between involved actors in a framework of collaborative creation. This collaboration will promote the approach between different fields of knowledge, of social strata or countries, and between different hierarchical levels. For this reason, co-creation methodologies, originating in the design field, can contribute as a facilitator during the process of the achievement of the SDGs since they are successfully applied in complex and multidisciplinary work environments.
