Definition

Adolescent: A person transiting from childhood to adulthood between the age 10 and 19 years.

Malnutrition: Disease state characterized by deficiency, excess, or imbalance in micronutrient or macronutrient consumption. Undernutrition encompasses three other distinct terms known as underweight, wasting, and stunting.

Life cycle approach: A systems approach which spans the entire life cycle of humans starting from fetal life till adulthood. Adults then act as progenitors of next generation which starts from fetal life.
