Missions

HelpAge International is the secretariat to a global network of organizations working for the rights of all older people to lead dignified, healthy, and secure lives. Its mission is to promote the well-being and inclusion of older women and men and to reduce poverty and discrimination in later life. As of March 2019, it has around 480 staff worldwide working on policy, advocacy, and humanitarian programs, and there are currently over 149 member organizations of the HelpAge global network, with many more partners in 90 countries across the world (Fig.1)
