Abstract
The latest imaging techniques provide the neuroradiologist with highly detailed structural information. Accordingly, the neuroimaging specialist needs to be equipped with a detailed knowledge of neuroanatomy in order to correctly interpret and communicate imaging findings. This chapter presents a review of foundational neuroanatomy as relevant to the neuroradiologist, using an ‘outside-to-inside’ approach.
